Fancy Socks

A couple of years ago, my wife and children decided I needed new socks because the white ones were not doing it. But just any old socks would not do and thus born the era of fancy sock-wearing for all work and other professional events. I’m at a point where I love well-fitting, extra comfortable, fancy-designed socks.

In the last three years, I have a set of favorites that I want to share with you in case you want to get your own. I don’t say this in jest. I literally have one supervisee that also does the fancy socks and has asked for a recommendation. Who am I to hide them.

So enjoy the below and if you are feeling it, get yourself a pair. Because you are getting premium socks, do not expect to get the six pack for ten bucks kind of deal.

Keep It Simple Socks

This is the company that got it started. One Christmas (I believe?) I received a pair of these fancy socks and I was like, “cool!” Then I read more and realized it was a whole subscription that every month, for $10/month, I’d be getting a new pair delivered to me. I didn’t get to pick the design, which I loved nearly every design I got and I loved the feel of them. While the later companies have even more comfy designs, this was what set me to enjoy them. I still have numerous pairs, though some have had to be thrown away which led to renewing the subscription for a short time to get new ones.

These are the latest socks I got for Father’s Day this year with one that has Proverbs 3:5-6 on them, Philippians 4:13 on them, and the Good Samaritan socks. Love that they are simple in design and I hope they hold up as they are worn over long periods and you can still distinguish the message in the future.
