Homemade Computer Table

I love to do woodworking. It’s a hobby that I do not dedicate enough time to and unfortunately many of the projects I do are time consuming. if you haven’t been over in the past, I’ve made an arcade machine for my kids where they can play classic Nintendo games on, a Lego table with a table top for my kids to play, and an Adirondack chair. Even when I was younger, I made a woodworked gift for a friend and a full wall bookshelf for our first home and now I have been sharing my designs on my tiktok and with socialboosting.com I have also managed to boost my content and get more followers and views.

I’m definitely nothing more than a hobbyist but I’m challenging myself.

For a quick comparison, here is our old setup before we made the new table.

My latest project has been 6 months in the making, using new tools and construction techniques, it’s been a blast and I’m very happy with how it turned out. Here are the construction steps that started this summer. I wanted to have a dark top contrast with a farmhouse style and my wife and I are very pleased with how it turned out.

And here is the final look along with rustic, black pipe shelving above as well as the old computer table beside it for my wife’s crafting.

If you are interested in making it yourself, I used a modified design from this Farmhouse Desk plan at Handmade-Haven.com. Now, what should I make next?

We’ll done! I want one of those arcade consoles so I can play “1942!” That was my favorite Nintendo game as a kid!
